- Mother Sun -
It was late afternoon, yet the silver moon's reflection against his navy backdrop painted my black skirt and vest as if it were the ocean. The sun never rised that day. Perhaps she wanted to teach us a lesson and her way of doing so was in slumber.
As technology becomes more advance, so do our egos. There are roughly 7 billion universes within our tiny 24,000 mile home. But on the day of her absence, we began to know the importance of her embrace. For that day, technology was placed aside, and through our actions, the mother of the universe felt her presence was needed. And so, on the next day, she came up and kissed us once again.
